THINGS TO DO! November 9-12, 2018

We have a long weekend ahead of us as we honor our Veterans.  The kids will be home from school on Monday, so brace yourselves.

Friday looks like a washout with the rain but there are plenty of indoor options to keep the sanity.  For the long weekend itself, it’s going to be cold but at least dry!

You’ll definitely feel like it’s winter when you see that Santa is arriving in a lot of places.  For those of you that love to get the holiday spirit going early, this is a great weekend for you. For those of you like me, I’m waiting for my turkey. Then we can talk Santa.

As far as events go on Monday, the libraries are closed but many museums that are usually closed on Mondays will be open that day.  Many places are also offering free admission for our veterans and servicemen/women.   Of course, you can also check out our Indoor Play Guide or if you are adventurous, you can bundle up and find a new playground.  Whatever you do,  remember those who have served our country so you can enjoy this day with your family!

Coming soon … I have a long queue of reviews coming soon including an indoor park in Massachusetts, a zoo, and a recent train discovery.  I am also putting our Holiday guide together and that should be out soon!
