Things to Do! October 30, 2017 – November 2, 2017

Trick or treat!

Halloween is finally here this week and if you are looking for a spooky alternative to trick or treating in the neighborhood, you will definitely find plenty of options. Monday and Tuesday are full of great ideas for collecting tons of candy for the kids. And by kids, I mean us parents. What? You know you eat their candy.

And then it’s November! You’ll find story times and indoor play to fill up your days. Special events slow down a little bit, especially with the cooler weather coming in. Apples, pumpkins and the other fall activities are officially over. Now we can start getting ready for Thanksgiving, Christmas and hibernation!

Of course, there are still plenty of things to do in Connecticut. Make sure to explore our website and you’ll find great children’s museums, playgrounds and indoor play places. This is my favorite time of year to just go out and explore – without being tied down to a set time or schedule!

Enjoy your Halloween everyone; try not to eat too much candy!
