Things to Do! September 11, 2017 – September 17, 2017

If it doesn’t feel like fall is fast approaching yet, it will after this week!

We’re less than two weeks out from the official first day of fall, but the calendar is full of great autumn events. Carnivals and harvest fests are occurring all over (there are so many more that I couldn’t even fit on this list, it was getting a little out of control)! Apple picking is in full swing.   Corn mazes start to open in the next two weeks; before you know it, we’ll be picking pumpkins!  And I’ll be posting those guides soon!

Tons of towns are having their own special celebrations including ones in Enfield, Tolland and Mansfield.  There’s also an airshow next weekend in Simsbury.

Library story times for the little ones are mostly back in session (a few libraries will start soon).

There is definitely no shortage of fun, family events this week! Grab a pencil and paper and start making plans; hopefully you’ll be able to decide between all the great choices! I am already struggling with what to do next weekend!

*Remember to always verify and confirm the dates/times of an event either through the website link provided, by Facebook, or by phone.

**I’ve added a dollar sign ($) symbol next to activities that either cost, or are included in a general admission price.  (Activities like farmer’s markets and carnivals that offer free admission are not included, since spending money on items or food is at your discretion!!)
