THINGS TO DO! Week of August 6-9, 2018

The countdown to school is officially ticking! I feel summer closing in on us every day.  I had all these grand plans and then camp didn’t go as imagined; it rained like every other day and of course, we caught a stomach bug… in the summer. He hadn’t even been around other kids this week! I am planning to make the most of our next three weeks, and trying to work around this humid hot weather!

Fortunately, there are many indoor activities still! Lots of great museums to check out, indoor play and the libraries are still running their fun summer programs.

If you are brave and can tolerate the heat better than I can, you have plenty of options there as well. And if you need even more, you can check out our playground guide and our splash pad guide.

I will be updating our carnival guide in the next week or two, so watch for that!

Enjoy these last few weeks of summer everyone!
