Things to Do! Weekend Edition: December 1, 2017 – December 3, 2017

Wow! It’s the first weekend of December! I’m totally not ready for December. I don’t think I ever am!  It’s a busy time of year for everyone. But sometimes we have to stop the shopping, stop with the wrapping and decorating, stop with the silly hiding of elves, stop with the baking, stop with the lists upon lists… and just enjoy the season.

And there is so much for you to enjoy this weekend. Take time out of your hectic life to visit with Santa, or go on a train ride. Drive and find Christmas lights, or go check out some gingerbread houses.

I know I’m guilty of doing too much. But this weekend I am really hoping to stop and just enjoy all the special parts of this holiday season – and the biggest thing I can do is watch the joy in my three year old’s face as he takes a ride on the trolley or watches twinkling lights.

Really enjoy this weekend everyone! The holidays are officially here, let’s make sure we truly find the magic in them this year!
