THINGS TO DO! Weekend of February 8-10, 2019

Cruising through February, aren’t we? The weather was pretty awesome this week – a little tease that spring is near but not too close. Sadly, the cold weather is back this weekend and sticks around until snow next week.  Winter, round two, right?

This weekend has some great activities, indoors and outdoors. You’ll want to bundle up if you head out for any of the outdoor winter celebrations going on throughout the area.  Or you can just stay inside and attend one of the many awesome events going on.

You’ll see a few Valentine’s Day events this weekend including one of our favorites, Romantic Willimantic. Years ago, that was a tradition for my husband and I. I think we actually went to the first one. We haven’t been in many years- maybe I’ll talk him into this year!

Enjoy the weekend – stay warm!

Oh, one last thing. If you have a second, please vote for This Connecticut Mom on The Hartford’s Best of List! We were nominated for best blogger!! Thanks!!

**Please check before you head out that an event is still happening. Winter is officially here and things do get canceled/delayed/postponed when there is bad weather. I cannot always update the calendar with cancellations, so it is important that you click on the links provided or call before you head out.
