THINGS TO DO! Weekend of January 25-27, 2019

It’s already the last weekend of January! Can you believe it! We made it through our first big snowstorm, and I’m sure there are more to come. It is New England after all.

This is a great weekend for indoor activities.  A very popular event arrives at the station on Saturday – The Amherst Railway Hobby Show at Eastern Expositions! This is a huge event, and you can expect big crowds, but I hear its very fun. It’s also on our agenda! Another great event in Massachusetts is at The Carle Museum in Amherst – their Friendeversary which includes free admission for all!

You can also enjoy low prices at Mystic this month, as well as at the Roger Williams Zoo.  It’s chilly to be outside but the savings make it worth it! If you have a Connecticut Science Membership, make sure to take advantage of this month’s reciprocal admission to the Maritime Aquarium! This is the last weekend!

Enjoy the weekend – let’s hope February isn’t too crazy with its winter weather!

**Please check before you head out that an event is still happening. Winter is officially here and things do get canceled/delayed/postponed when there is bad weather. I cannot always update the calendar with cancellations, so it is important that you click on the links provided or call before you head out.
