THINGS TO DO! Weekend of January 4-6, 2019

We are officially in 2019! How quickly this last year flew by! I say that every year…

January brings with it lots of cold temperatures, more opportunities for staying indoors and of course, the dreaded snow storms (and snow days).  Activities and events in the area slow down but that does not mean there is any shortage of things to do around here. The calendar this weekend is still full. But this is a great time to check out a new museum, an indoor play center or even a library.  You can find tons of ideas in our Indoor Play Guide

There are also outdoor activities for those that don’t mind braving the cold. Zoos and aquariums are still open. And you’ll find some great evening hikes this weekend too.

Enjoy the first weekend of January. Winter is going to fly by and it’ll be time to think about playgrounds before you know it. I’ll soak up the chance to hibernate while I can!
