THINGS TO DO! Weekend of March 8-10, 2019

So this weekend we spring forward. I love this time of year because it means warm weather is closer, longer days and later nights.  But getting through the week after daylight savings time ends is rough with little ones. They have no idea what spring forward means. They just wake up earlier because to them it’s not earlier. Meanwhile, mom and dad are over here dying from the lost hour to begin with, and then the kids wake up an extra two hours early. It’s tough.

One suggestion is to exhaust the heck out of them the day before – which will be easy to do with the calendar we have this weekend! There are some great events going on, and it’s also maple season so you can get out early on Saturday for a pancake breakfast and hopefully you’ll have one tired child on your hands by bedtime!

Saturday will be your best bet for getting out of the house since the weather on Sunday looks questionable. On the plus side, after we get over that little snow storm, we are looking at some AWESOME weather in Connecticut. You may even want to bust out the playground list next week!

Enjoy the weekend everyone! Try to rest up even though we lose an hour!

**Please check before you head out that an event is still happening. Winter is officially here and things do get canceled/delayed/postponed when there is bad weather. I cannot always update the calendar with cancellations, so it is important that you click on the links provided or call before you head out.
