Here’s a list of where to find some of the best Fourth of July Fireworks in Connecticut (and a few in Western Massachusetts)!

Friday, June 28, 2019
- Bridgeport: Seaside Park. From 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., enjoy a full day with food trucks, live music, carnival rides and fireworks at 9 p.m. Free admission.
- Hamden: Town Center Park. From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., enjoy music from The United State Army Field Band and a live DJ, food trucks, and of course, fireworks at 9 p.m. Admission and parking is free.
- Killingly: Owen Bell Park. Starting at 5:30 p.m., enjoy a chicken BBQ dinner, music and fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
- Windsor Locks: Veterans Memorial Park. At 9:30 p.m., enjoy fireworks after the Fire Department carnival. The carnival will run from June 27-29 and offer food, rides, games and BINGO. Free admission and free parking.

- Bristol : Lake Compounce. Arrive early at 11 a.m. to enjoy a full day of rides and fun. Then celebrate with Fireworks over the Lake after 9 p.m.
- Coventry : Patriots Park. From 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., enjoy music, games, rides, contests and a fireworks show!
- Hebron: Hebron Lions Fairgrounds. From 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., enjoy a car show, live music, food, vendors, activities for kids and fireworks.
- Middletown: Middletown Community Park. At 5 p.m., enjoy a festival with fireworks at dusk.
- Milford : Milford Harbor at Lisman Landing. From 4 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., enjoy food, fun and fireworks.
- Trumbull: Trumbull High School. At 9 p.m., enjoy a fireworks spectacular at the culmination of the Trumbull Festival which runs June 28 and 29.

- Vernon: Henry Park & Downtown Rockville. Starting at 6 p.m., celebrate at Henry Park with kids activities, food and fireworks.

- Derby: 3rd Street. At dusk, enjoy fireworks as you stroll through town enjoying food trucks and restaurants.
- East Longmeadow, Massachusetts: East Longmeadow High School. From 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., enjoy music with Trailer Trash and more. The fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m.
- Fairfield: Penfield or Jennings Beaches. At 6 p.m., enjoy live entertainment at either beach, and great views of the fireworks from a barge off Long Island Sound.
- Madison: West Wharf Beach. At 9:30 p.m., enjoy a fireworks spectacular on the beach.
- Meriden: Hubbard Park. Starting at 5 p.m., enjoy live entertainment and food, with fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
- Norwalk: Calf Pasture Beach. Starting at 5:30 p.m., enjoy a festival with food, kid’s shows, live music and fireworks at sundown.
- Norwich: Howard Brown Park. From 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., enjoy food trucks, music, family fun and fireworks. Free Admission.
- Stratford: Short Beach Park. At 9 p.m., enjoy the beach and fireworks after sunset. Free.
- West Haven: Bradley Point Park. At 9:15 p.m., come out to watch the Savin Rock Fireworks Spectacular.
- Westport: Compo Beach. At 9 p.m., enjoy fireworks on the each. Tickets are required for entrance to Compo.

- Middlebury: Quassy Amusement Park. Arrive early to enjoy rides and attractions at the park, and then watch the 3-D Fireworks spectacular over Lake Quassapaug at 10:15 p.m. Special viewing glasses will be sold.
- New Britain: Stanley Quarter Park. At 5p.m., The Great American Boom will be held and features music and more. Fireworks will be at 9:15 p.m. Free admission.
- New Canaan: Waveny Park. At 5 p.m., enjoy family picnicking, children’s games, food trucks, live music and fireworks after 9:15 p.m.
- New Haven: East Rock Park & Wilbur Cross High School. At 9 p.m., watch the fireworks light the sky from anywhere you can see the Angel of Peace atop East Rock (official viewing will be at Wilbur Cross Football Field).
- Rowayton : Bayley Beach. At 9 p.m., enjoy fireworks on the beach.
- Springfield, Massachusetts: Riverfront Park. From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., enjoy Star Spangled Springfield with great food, music, and fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Free Admission.
- Weston : Weston Middle School Field. At 4:30 p.m., gates open for you to enjoy food trucks, live music, a magic show, and fireworks at 9:20 p.m.

- Orange: Orange Fairgrounds. At 6:30 p.m., enjoy a night with fun activities, food, entertainment, and fireworks.
- Simsbury: Performing Arts Center at Simsbury Meadows. At 7:30 p.m., enjoy the Celebrate America Concert with fireworks immediately following the concert. Tickets on sale online.

- Greenwich: Greenwich Point and Binney Park. Enjoy fireworks at dusk.
- Jewett City: Veterans Memorial Park. Enjoy a weekend long carnival and festival, with fireworks on the last night. The carnival runs from July 4-7.
- Manchester : Manchester Community College Band Shell. At 4 p.m., enjoy the Annual James “Dutch” Fogarty 4th of July Celebration with live music, children’s games, a chicken bbq and fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
- New Milford : Town green. At 6:30 p.m., celebrate with music and fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Free admission.
- Putnam : Putnam Rotary Park. From 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., enjoy live entertainment and fireworks.
