BOO!
Who’s ready for Halloween? Connecticut definitely is! The festivities start as early as this weekend, and there are events every weekend until Halloween, and even during the week at certain places. You’ll find everything from trick or treating to trunk or treating; not so scary hayrides to gentle hayrides; parades, festivals, and so much more! I’ve put together a pretty extensive list that will help you find at least one Halloween event this year. Honestly, I hope you find more than one because there are SO MANY THINGS to choose from!
You won’t find the super scary events on this list since I do focus my attention on things for the little ones. I have a long time before I have to face my fears of clowns, zombies and other creatures of the night.
Make sure to note which events require advanced registration. Trick or Treating events are very popular, and unless you act quickly with some of these events, you could miss out!
Also with the current threat of EEE, be forewarned that some annual favorite activities are already canceled, and many have bumped up their times. Some events could still get canceled, so make sure to check before you head out. And of course, rain and yucky weather can also affect plans!
Have a BOO-tiful Halloween everyone!
(The list has been updated as of October 24, 2019!)
