The year has come to an end. And it’s a good time to reflect on the past, and make some plans for the future! I thought we’d end with a recap of our TOP FIVE FAVORITE VISITS OF 2018! If you have never been to these places, add them to your list for 2019!
1. Flatbread Company – South Windsor Best Pizza Ever. ‘Nuff said. 😋🍕 (TCM REVIEW)
2. 4-H Education Center at Auerfarm Blueberry Picking at Auerfarm was the best experience. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful. My husband has declared Auerfarm the only place we will ever pick blueberries again. 💙 (TCM REVIEW)
3. Wickham Park If you have never been to this beautiful park in Manchester, then you need to add it to your summer to do list. The Park will open again when the weather warms up, and it is a great place for a hike, a family picnic or just a little nature exploration. 🌳🌷 (TCM REVIEW)
4. Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory Up for a road trip? This wonderful little tropical oasis is just a shot up 91 in South Deerfield, Massachusetts (little under an hour from the border). Butterflies will flutter over your head and some may even land on you! It’s an experience like no other! 🦋 (TCM REVIEW)
5. East Hartford Public Library We discovered this library in the spring during the Passport to Connecticut Library program. We’ve been back several times as this library has become a most-requested by my four year old. Come check out the airplane theme in the children’s library or drop in during one of their many weekly programs. ✈️📚 (TCM REVIEW)
